Herb Lamb Burgers


Greek lamb burgers garnished with a salad of snow pea sprouts, beetroot and carrot and a drizzle of tzatziki served on soy and linseed buns is a healthy, low-kilojoule mid-week meal.

The ingredient of Herb Lamb Burgers

  • 600g lamb mince
  • 3 shallots trimmed sliced
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
  • 4 soy and linseed bread rolls halved or any grain bread of your choice
  • 30g snow pea sprouts
  • 2 small carrots peeled coarsely grated
  • 2 small beetroot trimmed peeled coarsely grated
  • tzatziki to serve

The Instruction of herb lamb burgers

  • place the mince shallots coriander and mint in a bowl use your hands to combine divide into 4 portions shape each portion into a patty
  • heat a non stick frying pan over a medium heat add the patties and cook for 4 5 minutes on each side or until cooked through toast the cut side of the rolls
  • top the base of the rolls with the snow pea sprouts grated carrot and beetroot place a patty on top and add a dollop of tzatziki place bun lid on top to serve
