- 1 1 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 brown onions thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 400g coles beef rump steak trimmed cut into 4 even portions
- 4 tablespoons bought aioli
- 4 coles rustic bread rolls split
- 2 tomatoes sliced
- 40g baby rocket leaves
- oven baked frozen chips or wedges to serve

- heat 1 tablespoon of the oil in a small saucepan over medium high heat add the onion and toss to coat in the oil reduce the heat to low cover and cook for 10 minutes or until slightly golden cook uncovered for a further 5 minutes stirring occasionally or until light golden stir in the vinegar and cook for 1 minute
- use heel of the palm of your hand to flatten the steaks slightly season with salt and pepper heat the remaining oil in a large non stick frying pan over medium high heat add the steaks and cook for 2 minutes each side for medium or until cooked to your liking set aside for 2 minutes to rest
- spread half the aioli over the base of the bread rolls top with the tomato rocket steak onion remaining aioli and lids serve with chips or wedges
